Just got back from spain, making it my 31st country i've traveled to. Am really sad at the thought of diminished opportunities to travel over the next 4 years. That said, several schools i applied to seem to have rather robust international opportunities! Gotta say, I prefer solo backpacking and hosteling.
And for those who said they are traveling to south america soon, if you can, please hit up Chemuc Champey in Guatemala and San Gil in Colombia. The two most magical places i've ever been.
