What do you guys do?

Hi guys. I just want your opinion on something: What do you guys do when you discover something that gives you an advantage or a leg up on someone else? Do you tell people what you've discovered or do you keep it to yourself? For example if you discover like a very competitive program and there are so few seats do you just tell no one about it? Or like you get a test from a previous year do you email it to all of your classmates? I'm just curious because I've made a lot of great friends and I feel conflicted at times on what to do.
