Man, adcoms around the country should get together and inform applicants in a mass email that "500" is NOT the new "30". As much as the AAMC wants to de-emphasize the MCAT, it's evident from SDN that adcoms are still going to rely on percentiles, specifically 80%+ being the competitive score. I'm curious how many applicants are throwing $$$ away based on the AAMC's "recommendations".
