I really appreciate it if some official personnel can shed some light on this situation for me since my recruiter seems clueless and can only tell me dec 19th is the first review board.
1. if the dec 19th is the first review board, that means they will review applications submitted in Oct and Nov boards. and some applicants, on that date, will probably have an acceptance letter.
my question is:
Does the Army only review and decide to grant scholarship first to those applicants with an acceptance letter in hands? and put the rest on order of merit list for later boards (until they have an acceptance letter) ?
or
Does the Army do what it usually did last cycle in which they review and scholarship based on stats alone (acceptance letter helps but does not decide between a yes or a no)?
As dec 1st draws near, I am afraid without having an acceptance letter in hand before dec 19th can put my effort in completing the application to waste.
Thanks.
