Pre-req confusion please help!

Hi all! I am a bit confused on how we find out if our pre-reqs will be accepted for each school. For example, I took Quantitative Methods in Psychology which was basically statistics in the psychology major and am not sure if that will fly as the statistics requirement for most schools.

I see that for some it will definitely be a go as they state statistics for social sciences are acceptable, but for others that do not specify do I need to call each school I am interested in to find out? I have to return to my CC to take a few courses before I start applying, but am not sure if I need to "retake" stats.
