1. Why would medical schools be at career fairs? Do they not have enough applicants? Also, do they remember anyone that they talk to? In case the latter is true, I did talk to some representatives from two medical schools at our career fair last week, I think it went well... but I can't ever picture them actually remembering my name/face, from a school with 35k students.
2. I'm getting ready to register for the MCAT at the end of the month, and I'll likely fill out the fee assistance program application. I've read that they require parental income information, regardless of age or independence. I'm a fully independent, non traditional student, and it may be hard for my dad to just hand over his tax information. I know my husband and I don't meet the 300% poverty guideline with three children and him in graduate school as well. However, I know my parents crush that guideline, but they don't provide us with assistance outside of buying my kids school clothes once in awhile and a few Christmas gifts. I know the guidelines, but I guess I'm just wanting more information about their selection process.
Thanks!!
