My point is. I did bad my last 2.5 years. Very bad. I became incredibly unintersted in school because I did not have the ability to continue being interested in school. In fact, i spent more time driving home taking care of my parents and driving them both in and out of the hospital. My gpa fell to the above score. I got 2.4 my last quarter etc.
Do I have any chances now? I honestly had given up on being a doctor, but through taking care of my parents i realized how much it is my calling. Or at least working in the medical field. Nursing practitioner, etc.
Now im sitting at home with an MCAT test prep book after college but I feel I am hopeless due to my last 2 years. I did a TON Of lab research and have hours in a hospital, but no one in a hospital i could ask a reference from. (I did not work under a doctor) I plan on doing more volunteer work.
Do you guys think I should still try to take the MCAt or focus onto a different profession like nursing and go back to school? I would love to be a doc. I love people. I love taking care of them and this comes from the bottom of my heart.
