I think it was worth it because I never had to worry about paying for it; it came from financial aid. Graduate housing allows you alcohol in your apartment but not in the common areas like the hallways. I never bothered to try to make friends but that was me; I guess you could in class or something.
Bathrooms have a sink in the hallway outside of the bathroom. Most people study at home but we do have a library and some quiet study rooms also.
The new curriculum change has happened already. First years now have biochemistry first semester and microbiology 2nd semester. So it goes like this
1st= anatomy, histology, neurophysiology, physiology, biochemistry
2nd semester= LEA, microbiology, neuroanatomy, some other stuff
