Hello, I am currently a P3. I would advise you to maybe ask one of your professor if you could meet with them to discuss some other pharmacy avenues you could take. It depends on what area you live in as to what is available and if you are willing to move if you need to. There is nuclear pharmacy, compounding pharmacies, clinical pharmacist don't have as much patient interaction, there are companies that employee pharmacist to answer Drug Information questions we have a faculty member who is specialized in that and there are even residencies in that field, we have a rotation at my school with the FDA so there may be jobs there but your faculty can help you with this and all the different things that could be in your reach, I would keep up your grades, your first yr will have the biggest impact on your GPA, you never know you end up picking something that is highly competitive and be involved eventually does not HAVE to be right now but as you progress in your program your school should expose you to some of the different career paths and when you get in therapy that will help as well.
