I am really desperate to go to a school this 2016 cycle.
But my stats worry me. I did get many advice on going to post-bac and improving my scores before I deciede to apply. However, it was not an option for me considering my personal circumstances and financial issues.
I graduated with Biology degree B.S 2014
I have a cGPA of 3.0 sGPA of 3.0
My MCAT from July was 490
I am studying to take another MCAT on January.
My extra curriculums and achievements are below:
Medical Student Association: President, Executive and Founding member, August 2012 to May 2014
Shadowing osteopathic primary care, July 2015 to September 2015
Vice President of soccer club association, August 2013 to May 2014
non-clinical volunteer with non-profit organization, December 2012 to Present
Volunteer at a Community Center, October 2013 to May 2014
Escort at VA Medical Center, May 2014 to August 2014
The President's Volunteer Service Award, 2013 & 2015 (GOLD)
Thank you for reading my post.
I am extremely nervous to hear from any of these schools.
Trying not to be stressed about the upcoming MCAT but it is hard...
I did take long time to write up my essays. All my friends and advisors say my essays are good.
But again I understand that stats are very important and often tells lot about a person.
